Nigerians want voting rights for those in the diaspora- Survey It seems the agitation by Nigerians in the diaspora for the rights to have a say in the elections of their native country has started to yield results as the public opinion on the issue inside Nigeria has started to tilt towards their favour. In a poll recently conducted by the Alliance for Credible Elections (ACE) with support from the MacArthur Foundation, 53% of respondents were in support of giving voting rights to their compatriots outside the shores of the country.
