Nigerias foreign trade increases to N5.51tn from N5.16tn in the first quarter of the year(Q1 2014), according to the NBS. When compared to the corresponding quarter of 2013, trade surplus increased by 34.3% following a decline in imports by 6.2%. This is a good indication of economic growth if and only if this statistics is not a mere political paper work. Statistics shows also that India is our bigest customer, while we import more from China over USA. I think China will catch USA as the worlds economic super power sooner than ive been thinking!
