Nika started with maintenance!! This involves mostly oral chemo at home with 1 drs visit and iv chemo once a month. Also 1 lumber puncture and 5 days of continuous iv chemo every 3 months. Blood tests every 2 weeks. It still sounds pretty full on but to us it will mean way less hosp visits! Apparently this new regime will not make Nika feel as sick and she will mostly be able to have a normal life again!! Maintanance is for 1 year +, so still a while to go before we can celebrate.
