Nikon released the ALL new Df digital retro film wanna-be believing this will fix your need for nostalgic photography. It might bring you a little closer but it will set you back $2,800 and its still digital. Dont get me wrong, I love digital, but for a film feel why not just use a film camera? My nikon N50 (although not a Nikon best) was free and works great. You can get similar for very little on eBay and such. I pair it with the awesome AFD 50mm 1.8 lens ($120 or less) and a $5 roll of Fuji Supera film and BAM! Ive got film nostalgia with enough $$$ left over to buy, develope, and print tons of film. I realize that this Df will only fall in the hands of photo junkies and a unique crowd but what I am saying is that the rest of us can still enjoy the intended experience too. Now this is the kind of wasted bites of data FB was made for. Folks like me rambling on about stuff no one cares about - love it. :)
