Nine lives may run out for Keizer! This special farm cat disappeared earlier this month and after being gone four days, I gave up on ever seeing him again. Keizer suddenly reappeared for breakfast on the fifth day and looked beat up and very thin. Keizer is a tough old bugger and is now almost fully recovered about two weeks after he was attacked by some wild animal and had a hole bit into his throat. Hopefully he will stay closer to home and safe in the LGD protected zone. He still has a small hole in his skin under his chin but the wound is about 10% the size it was initially and although he is still thin, he is almost fully recovered. The photo with the goat kid was taken the day before he vanished and the photo of his fierce open mouth was taken last night. The gray cat sharing the warm car hood with Keizer is his sister Phoebe. So happy he is okay! He is our farm mascot, loves to greet visitors, and rarely misses a photo opp!
