Nine things about me: 1. I was born in Nuremburg, West Germany. 2. In college I had two pet mice named Bill and Ted. 3. I also had at the time two pet snails named Speedy and Hasty. 4. If I could be anything I wanted, I would either be a rock star or a professional writer. 5. I was a total nerd in high school and college and used to wear sweater vests and turtle necks to the bar. 6. I was socially awkward to the point that my mother told me one time that shed still love me even if I were gay. (I was over twenty one and had yet to go on a date so I can see why she wondered.) 7. My poetry has been published professionally five times, but Ive never seriously pursued it. 8. I played the clarinet from fifth grade to my sophomore year in college and made All-State band my senior year. 9. I miss teaching.
