Nnebisi’s First Daughter – Ojife, where is she? What became of our accentual father’s first daughter of Ahaba, princess Ojife, as very little has ever been said or accredited to her since? Did she marry when she became of age and settle where in modern day Nigeria? Is there a link between modern day Asaba and Ojifes descendants or have her children been entwined as part of modern day Asaba or has the people forgotten the Ada-isi Ahaba (Crown princess)? Is the story attributed to princess Ojifes daughter true and a monument by the FMC Roundabout, really true or just a fiction fairy tale? It’s very interesting as no one has ever mention or talked about this, for many of us that falls within the younger generations of Umu-Ahabas or those based in Diaspora we have no idea and would like to be educated more about the history of princess Ojife and her descendants. I have asked a few of the Umu-Ahabans in Diasporas but could not get a consistent realistic answer! Where are the historians and gurus amongst us?
