No East, No West , No South , No North ... By Solomon Sharma 2014 election result is out and all i can see is people taking about politics everywhere, even i find myself in the same category. The ruling government came in the power again which is a good thing and ten seats are taken by the opposition party which is not bad either . India is well known for its democracy, indeed it is Worlds largest democracy. Democracy which can be defined as a form of government, in which all the eligible citizens participate equally - either directly or indirectly by casting their vote. Abraham Lincoln quoted democracy as The government of the People, By the People, For the People I can see the behavioral changes of the people and many a times I go through the posts in Facebook too, which disheartens me to the core, because i see people fighting over political parties, commenting on each-other vulgarously. Besides this i hear people saying If this party comes. it will bring this and that changes and to those i wanna say is BE the change you wanna see. Do you want to see peace in Sikkim?? Stop fighting with each-other over political issues, i see disputes between two families. I read the posts in Facebook which is trying to divide Sikkim into parts EAST SIKKIM and WEST, NORTH, SOUTH SIKKIM, and it is not wise to comment using such statement. I am updating this post so that i can tel you my friend that, no matter what!! We all live in the same soil, i know we want development, we want employment hospitals, colleges etc. but creating disputes withing districts, family, society, people, over political issues arent gonna work. Please let us stand united and share this message making people aware that, practicing all this things arent bringing any changes or development (!! PLEASE SHARE THIS POST IF YOU FIND IT TRUE- THANKYOU)
