No FB status yesterday so 2 days in one update. Day 67 was a very full one. We started with a great cruise up Katherine Gorge - brilliant and the only way to see these remote rock formations apart from via the air. Then on to Kakudu where we saw 2 lookouts marred slightly by smoke from fires - second one was a tough steep 2km walk in 35 degrees and 80 per cent humidity. Finished off the day with a great sunset cruise on Yellow Waters - quintessential Kakudu wetlands with crocodiles and many birds and a fiery sunset due to smoke - fantastic apart from mossie cloud. Day 68 saw us visit Ubirr in Kakudu where we saw heaps of amazing Aboriginal rock art. Then the 250km drive to Darwin where I enjoyed a game at Palmerston - very tight 6100 mtr Par 71 with lots of water. Played pretty well but did not hole anything for 78. Off to the Info centre tomorrow to find out the highlights in Darwin before moving on to Lichfield NP and then Tennant Creek. John and Andrew
