No Hoodwinking this Mamba Guard! The term “hoodwink” is described as the act of deceiving or tricking another party. A suspect tried to trick a Mamba Guard into believing that his hood contained nothing but his head. During the closing hours of business on Chilworth Road, Foundersview, Mamba Guard Promise Ngobeni, was doing routine checks when he noted an employees head had gained an abnormal shape between clocking in and closing time. Promise approached the suspect and asked if he could remove his hoodie for a routine check. The suspect tried to reason with Promise as to why he could not remove his hood. Promise remained persistent and insisted that the suspect followed his instructions. The suspect then reluctantly revealed his stolen goods. The suspect was detained and arrested by Promise. All goods were recovered.
