No Openings For Venkys Film Going by the audience response, looks like it is going to be very tough for senior heroes to have good openings. The recently released Nagarjuna’s film Bhai had better openings when compared to Venkatesh’ latest release Masala. There has been much hype about Masala and Venkatesh too has gone ahead and promoted his film. But looks like all this hasn’t helped the film’s openings. It is being said that only 50 per cent occupancy was seen in the multi-plexes. As per industry talk, more than half of the theatres were not full in Uttarandhra. While the film has not created a positive buzz yet, it has got average talk in the B centres. Already, the buyers are worried about the film’s fate. If this trend continues, then it will be impossible to bank on the openings, unless and until it is a young hero’s film. It has been proven once again that making a movie, creating hype around it and making sure that the money is recovered in the first three days of release is no longer possible for each and every actor!
