No Sound Was Made No sound was made as I was told that my great grandfather had cancer No sound was made except okay as a response No sound was made when I visited him in the hospital No sound but me telling him I love you. Youre going to beat this. No sound, but the machines giving him oxygen No sound, but the machines taking away his fluids No sound, but the machines pumping morphine into his body to stop the pain No sound was made as I was told that my great grandfather had passed that day from his cancer No sound was made, but the sound of my tears flowing No sound, but me asking why No sound, but me saying its not fair No sound, but me saying he didnt deserve to die No sound, but me thinking to myself, God could have waited Its been almost two years, and I know my Great Grandfather wouldnt want me to dwell on his death and be sad. But he was like my dad damn it, and right now I just need him to hug me and tell me everything is going to be alright.
