No actual summit attained but much of my day was spent above 4k. I climbed Huntington Ravine and then strolled over to Lion Head, Tuckerman Ravine and then descended via Glen Boulder Trail. The NWS peeps suggested I could expect partly sunny skies, and that was true until I was part way up the ravine headwall, at which point the clouds came in. As I was walking around Lion Head I felt the first raindrops which (annoyingly) increased in intensity. I pondered a quick descent down Lion Head but decided against it as I have yet to melt ... so off to Tuckerman Ravine and Glen Boulder beyond. It rained lightly the entire way, though not enough to warrant rain gear. Predictably, as soon as I dipped back in the trees the rain came to a screeching halt and sun started to smile down. I was not amused ... but yet I was! Anyway, I love this loop - third time Ive done it - and will do it again on my next sunny day opportunity :)
