No chamber of commerce can survive on dues alone; so, using chamber speak, “nondues revenue” is essential to the sustainability equation. The Hobbs Chamber’s principal source of nondues revenue is its annual corporate sponsorship program, the sponsors of which we collectively refer to as our “Firm Foundation.” In this way we have structured the Hobbs Chamber’s finances wherein membership dues fund our overhead, while corporate sponsorships fund programming, Our programming stems from our mission statement: to provide the tools and to create the environment for Hobbs-area businesses to thrive. We do this through policy, advocacy, cooperative marketing and member education.
