No charges will Officer Wilson face #Ferguson. Strange fruit hanging from the trees is what comes to mind. When I see Mike Browns face, all I could see is my younger brother Dante. He is good kid in his second year of college majoring in Geology and I am afraid for him as does not know how cruel some people can be toward the color of your skin. It does not matter what your skin color is; what matters is another family must relive with the fact their child is dead. Mikes family is the one who is left to relive the night they found out their child is dead. They are reliving the day they had to bury him. The image I recall is the image of his father wailing at his burial. I have never bore a child and could only imagine the day that someone tells you that your child is dead. This does not only hurts me this pain hurts generations to come. I feel like history is repeating itself instead of lynching I am seeing gunshots. What matters is I am seeing another black man gunned down as their lives have no meaning. My heart just fell into many pieces and my spirit is holding on to my faith. I am saddened and dismayed. How many more strange fruit must hang from the trees. I want to know what do we do in order for the world to know that we are not animals but we are human beings like their family members. This will be my last post regarding this matter as I will need time to pray for Mikes family, friends, community and those like me who are sadden.
