No good news, unfortunately. (No street parade with Grinchy on float, cruising down the main street with us all cheering her return. No yet anyway.) Tonight was the 15th, and the last, evening on Grinch Watch out on Jubilee Lake Road. I contacted Pet Search today and updated them on what I’ve been doing and that theres been no sightings by myself, nor any of the local residents, over the last 2 weeks. Pet Search explained that after this amount of time, if she was still in that area, she would have been seen by now. Either she has moved on, or it just wasn’t her. Considering there had been earthworks in the day(s) previous to her possible sighting (only 100m from where the dog was seen running over the road), maybe she was moving location away from the noise and disturbance of her little lost paradise. It’s possible it was the reason she was sighted at all And it’s possible it just wasn’t her. I wish I knew. Wish I had better news.
