No happy thoughts today..... Some drunk ass person totaled my car that I had parked along side my house last night. Shes old and not worth much although shes had regular maintenance and was bought and paid for and was a good car for 12+ years and the insurance was cheap. Also just had a new water pump, radiator, breaks, tires and wiper blades and now shes dead. It was hit so hard it went back into my daughters car and screwed up her bumper too. The man that hit my car had cheap ass coverage, so since my car is old theyre gonna give me cash value cuz his max policy amt is $5000... Part of that(about 2,000) will fix her bumper and Ill get stuck with max of $1500 to get another car... Im screwed. :-(. Cant afford a car payment either..... There is one bright side today... I saw the blood/cancer specialist today and I absolutely love him...one of the most caring, kindest Doctors that I ever met... Hes ordered 2 more heart test and another 12 blood tests but he believes just from examining me , reading my chart and other tests, and taking a verbal history from me that he knows what the problem is and he can fix it with a piece of screen/mesh between the top two chambers of my heart... All tests being done this week and next and I see him again on Dec 2 for the diagnosis and to set up surgery to fix...also good news, no open heart surgery, just a catherization procedure up through my groin to place the screen... Then I will be placed on Coumadin for a minimum of 1year, which is definitely safer than the blood thinner xeralto, which is what Im on now....so anybody have an extra decent cheap car, let me know... I could really use a break.... Im really starting to feel sorry for myself and my bad luck that never seems to change...guess Ill do the bright light and mesh imaging tonight and have a long talk with God....I gotta remember to lean on him...
