No it is not easy getting care at the VA sometimes. I have to go to Palo Alto next week. In order to get there, I have to ride the shuttle bus. In order to ride the shuttle bus I have to be at the VA in Sonora before 5:30 am. In order to get to the Va in Sonora before 5:30 am, I have to start walking the over 10 miles down a dangerous 2 way highway with no side space and then sleep outside of the VA building and awake before 5:30 am. Then when I return I have to walk Uphill the 10 miles back to Columbia on a very steep incline after arriving in Sonora at 8 PM. Again I will have to walk uphill on a very tight 2 lane highway with little or no side room. This is going to suck majorly. I expect i will arrive back at my temporary home at about midnight or later.
