No man was born to be more evil or greedier than another man, but - TopicsExpress

No man was born to be more evil or greedier than another man, but all men are by nature self-centered and selfish. Men are more interested in personal achievement and comfort than in the common good or public interest. Men do not give much thought to virtuous values, and are less interested in treating others fairly and justly. Men enjoy listening to flattery, and are more likely to be nice to and do things for those who compliment them. Men tend to think that what they think is good and right, and they see what they expect to see and believe what they want to believe. Men often believe what their hearts feel, and many believe in something that is incomprehensible, supernatural and superstitious. Men are inclined to exaggerate their strengths and to rationalize their weaknesses, and are not willing to accept the truth about their negative behaviors and harmful habits. No man was born to be a success or a failure. A man earns his success with ability, knowledge, industry and perseverance. A man who fails to learn and acquire the prerequisites for achieving success invites failure. Men are possessed by and obsessed with money, and are made wealth-greedy monsters by the money they have created. No man is perfect, but men are creative, inventive and productive, and have created a wonderful human world.
