Post volunteer break with Travis and Cricket... These moments are always the best: all the kitties are fed, the buildings and cages are clean (for a little while at least), boxes are scooped, dishes are done, floors are swept. The refuge is peaceful and quiet, and the kitties are eager to get some last cuddles and pets in before all the people go back to their homes. Today I got company from Travis (black panther, 1y old; hes one of the 6 all black spring kittens from 2013 who we didnt find homes for) and Cricket (dilute calico, 2y old, she also came to the goathouse as a kitten and is still looking for a forever home). Please consider signing up as a volunteer. For kitties like Travis and Cricket, who have been waiting to find their forever home for one or two years, you are their family, and if you let them, they become yours.
