No one can tell me that this is done for conservation or preservation, while breeding the innocent parrots mindlessly for profit. Illegal parrot trading is poaching done by the hungry and mostly indigenous people who get lured into the wild trade by the breeders who wants fresh blood line in their breeding program, therefore they can make more money. African Greys from the Wild all end up poached and sold to India, Middle East, and way to Europa, and the South American species are still arriving to USA. Breeders like to say that the deforestation cause the extinct, however they greed for new parrots from the Wild adds to the contribution to extinction of parrot species. That is not hobby. Having 100 eggs and 100 baby chicks shown on breeders pages, is not conservation but exploitation of the animals. It is more like farming, egg farming! Why selling parrot babies for money, if they call them self sanctuaries?! Sure they would say the parrots need to be fed and cleaned so that is why they need to sell the youngs, or the requirement is large for new parrots around Easter and Christmas time. There all excuses to justify they greed and money hunger. Making money on others back, while after a couple years all those sold parrots end up on the rescues with problems. The solution is simple: stop breeding them, stop selling, teach the public to adopt the parrot, open real sanctuaries and preservation of the species. But only people with lots of money can do this. https://youtube/watch?v=cUBLS9e9HCs#t=12
