No other movie to me personifies the life of an athlete like one of my fav movies of all time, Love & Basketball...it deals with love, other influences of life an athlete deals with, and the game... Man the game is not fair...the love of the game will only take you so far...but when its time to wake up to the real world.. It can be so hard to adjust. Not only do people not take you seriously, youre literally starting all over. I will always be an athlete but that was only a vessel..my skills, knowledge, self worth is so much more than a sport. Love and life is not fair... But alls fair in love and basketball... Love and football. #doubleornothin. Hard work and dedication... Perserevereance... And character. I will be great! You try hard to keep me down, but I will get up every time. Eventually I will crawl past that finish line only to work hard all over again ... Theres no quit in me. I wont let you determine where my treasure is and I will receive it in due time... Gods time.
