No sooner had the dust settled in the verdict of the George - TopicsExpress

No sooner had the dust settled in the verdict of the George Zimmerman trial than we began to see cries of injustice and further proof of racism in American. This was never a case brought before the jury because of indisputable evidence of racist cold blooded killer whose sole intent was to take the life of a young black person. For those who cry White, or in this case, Hispanic racism they must ask themselves a simple question: If that were George Zimmerman on top of Travon Martin and Travon fired a shot that killed George Zimmerman would there be similar claims of racism against Travon Martin. The answer is an emphatic NO. This case was never about irrefutable evidence of a premeditated intent to kill. It was about turning over a prejudged individual to a prosecutorial lynch mob to satisfy a perceived public bloodlust. If Liberals and the black community are really concerned about the loss of young black men they must look first to themselves. As many as 9,000 blacks are murdered annually with 93% murdered by other blacks, about 49% of all homicides. In Chicago, in just the span of three days alone, 41 people, mostly African-American, were shot and killed in Chicago. Ten were killed in President Obama’s former neighborhood. These atrocities were largely ignored by activists and the mainstream media. But rather than address rampant crime, homicides, illiteracy, illegitimacy, joblessness, and poverty in black communities, Liberals and black activists have looked to a Hispanic scapegoat. This is the real Travesty.
