^ No stranger to runway modelling (I modeled Vancouver, Tokyo and London (1982-86) ... all I can say is Sack the F**KING lot of them! AND the choreographer. and ANYONE else who designed this lacklustre presentation. THE Designers work is actually pretty cool. What Im amazed by is the mostly apathetic bunch of over puffy dudes (models? OR bed buddies or gym grabs) who are sooooooo self absorbed by their half assed non committal almost ashamed TO be seen ... Theyre certainly NOT selling the gear! I think the fetish and provocative irony of these adornments are sensational. The presentation? flat. Hence the items become unflattering - the poor posture alone shows the amateur nature of the buff but not performers. REAL modelling is expressive movement with a projected attitude and definitely one of confidence, strength, commitment to the garment and playing a part ..... a true model *(old school) is an actor evoking a sense of character in silent mime. AND its a sales pitch. Sell me the whatever dont shuffle about in aimless wanderings all embarrassed and self-conscious. Painful.
