No, we are not doomed to a life of clash between Arabs and Jews. No, we are not children of an ancient and eternal enmity. No, we did not always live in a paradise of perfect co-existence, but this current crisis is itself the aberration, the result of a mad land-grab mingled with failed politics. We need these reminders of how we have been together in the past, so that we can imagine and realize a future of co-existence.
