Nokia is back again, This time with Android Lollipop.... and I am really enjoying watching the whole game that is going to confuse every consumer.... Here is my Note on all these happenings ___________________________________ The Google Untouchability of Microsoft alias has lead to see them hard times in the Market, for Microsoft initially was too slow to recognise the new trend of computing that is actually more simplistic and appealing to an average user. And after they actually got conscious to the concept which, unfortunately for them(Microsoft), Apple and Google were already leading the concert on the Podium. But still it seems that Microsoft has not got everything done right, or the consumer is actually not getting it right. We cant ignore the awkward Windows 8 approach, that no one liked and the Windows Phone is also not fitting that right in the senses of an average consumer, clearly the Typographical Interface of Windows Phone requires you to be more pensive. The complementing environment of the Services and Apps must also be blamed. Microsoft’s Own Services are not being greatly embraced as compared to Google’s and Other’s and here the “Google Untouchability” Factor is at work. All this is leading Microsoft focus more on their Enterprise Products and Cloud Services in order to keep its revenue boosting but the consumers side table is shaking its legs. But since its Microsoft, it still have second chance regarding their Windows and Office cash-cows. It can keep experimenting but this is moving and shaking others, the PC OEMs and the Tablet and Phone makers sitting on the Microsoft bandwagon. But since Nokia was an ardent devotee, having complete faith in Windows and Office Productivity, it suffered a lot and finally the devotee met the God. Nokia Mobile finally became Microsoft Mobile. Coming back to Nokia, I must first say that am not quite precise here in Names of Divisions and Terminologies of the commercial agreements but The Nokia Mobile & Devices Division’s executives being more closer to Microsoft (e.g., Stephen Elop) took their take to sell of Nokia Devices segment to Microsoft and hence getting into Microsoft Boards. The Agreement says Microsoft will rebrand all the Nokia Labels to Microsoft and hence still leaving the chances for the Finnish to be competitors again in Future. This is what Nokia is indicating again with the launch of Nokia N1 Tablet. The aesthetic design is very very closer to what an Apple iPad mini looks like from the stereo speaker to the volume rocker and also the camera and the power button. Well, we still need to see what Nokia will be upto after its latest refreshment in the company which is more than 140 years old and started working with Rubbers and Cables. But the interesting part is not there….. The interesting part is the impact of all these happening on the ground where an average consumer would walk in the store and find their Nokia Priority Dealers gone away and all the upcoming Lumias replaced with Microsoft Labelling. The Dealers would inform the Consumer, “Oh! your favourite company is now sold off to Microsoft”. But then all of a sudden a Nokia Device appears again in the scenario leaving every one confused, this time running #Android Lollipop and we might expect Google Services to be supported as the some leaked screenshots are showing google search app preinstalled. So this time Nokia seems to be completely on Google’s Train leaving Microsoft’s Bandwagon which is already making many suffer a lot. But all these are going make consumers pretty confused and ultimately in many ways an average one could find himself holding something unwanted and unexpected in his hands which he would just buy in the mess of these names Microsoft, Windows Phone, #Nokia, Android, #Lumia & #NokiaN1…..
