Anyone meeting the below requirements, please e-mail your resume to subramanya.c@gmail MBB CEM OSS Open for External Hiring Position : R&D Engineers / Senior Engineers – Development & Testing Experience : 1.5 years to 5 years Total open positions : 100+ Job Grade : JG6 and JG7 Job Description : • Understand customer scenarios, able to develop and qualify the software for the same. • Works on gaining in-depth knowledge of the components owned as well as the overall system, not limited to the responsibility area. • Owns quality of deliverables & works towards meeting Virtual Zero target. • Manages dependencies across other modules and identifies the impacts. • Troubleshoot technical issues and find the root cause of the issues identified. • Test case Design, Planning and Execution. • Qualify the Product with respect to the documented System and Functional Requirements. Technical Skill Requirements (more the better): • Strong OSS domain know-how • Solid functional and non-functional e2e testing experience of Telecom products. • Hands on experience in Test Design, Planning and Execution. • Should have hands-on experience in designing & developing applications using Core JAVA, J2EE, Eclipse. • Exposure to GUI Frameworks - Portal Framework / Liferay, Javascript, JQuery/YUI, Portlets, HTML, CSS • Databases and related technologies Postgres DB/ SQL/ ORM • Junit / Javascript unit test frameoworks / ROBOT / Selenium based test automation • Application Server – Preferably JBoss EAP and JBoss clustering • Documentation of the SW design • Excellent debugging skills and Problem analysis in costumer project • Good understanding of system development and designing. • Shell Scripting / Perl/ Python / Ruby • Test Automation tools / Basic Java Programming / Oracle DB • Linux with Good working knowledge on Linux commands, Users, Permissions, Roles, RPMs / Working knowledge on VMWare Virtualization Technology. • Excellent skills in JSF, JSP, Java Script, J2EE and Tomcat • Good knowledge in RichFaces, MyFaces and CSS • Strong know-how and experience in one or more of the following areas: 1. Installation & Upgrade 2. Usability Testing 3. Security Verification 4. Backup and Restore • Solid experience in testing with real Network Elements • Experience in tracing tools (WireShark, IPDump,etc) and protocol analyzers • Knowledge in running and analyzing results of scan tools like Nessus, Burp,nmap • Knowledge with SSL,TLS • Experience in Performance tool development using C++ or Java • Experience in C-programming, HTTP, SOAP, C unit test framework. Klockwork is a plus • Strong hands-on experience in SCM/CI Software Development & Build automation tools.
