[Nomination Period of Annual Election 2014] The nomination period of the Executive Committee, the Health Committee, the Society Newspaper Editorial Board and the Popularly-elected Councilors of Medical Society, HKUSU, Session 2015 will begin on 22 October 2014 (Wednesday). The posts available for nomination are: A. Executive Committee 1. One Chairperson 2. One Internal Vice Chairperson 3. One External Vice Chairperson 4. One General Secretary 5. One External Affairs Secretary 6. One Welfare Secretary 7. One Financial Secretary 8. One Sports Captain 9. One Sports Secretary 10. One Social Secretary 11. One Current Affairs Secretary 12. One Publication Secretary B. Health Committee 1. One Health Officer 2. Two Assistant Health Officers C. Society Newspaper Editorial Board 1. One Chief Editor 2. Two General Editors D. Three Popularly-elected Councilors Nomination Period: 22 October 2014 to 3 Nov 2014 A completed application signed by 2 nominators should be submitted to Roy Chan, the current General Secretary of the Executive Committee, Medical Society, HKUSU, on or before 3 Nov 2014. Nomination forms can be obtained from the Medical Society Office during opening hours (Monday to Friday 12:30-13:30 pm and 17:30-18:30 pm) or downloaded from the society website (medsoc.org.hk) Eligibility: - All MBBS Year 1-5 students, direct members of Medical Society, HKUSU - All BNurs Year 1-4, BChinMed Year 1-5 students and BPharm Year 1-3 students, indirect members of Medical Society, HKUSU - All and only direct members are eligible to nominate, be voted and vote in the Annual Election for the Executive Committee. - All direct and indirect members are eligible to nominate, be voted and vote in the Annual Election for the Chief Editor and the two General Editors of the Society Newspaper Editorial Board, the Health Officers and two Assistant Health Officers of Health Committee and the three Popularly-elected Councilors. - Each eligible voter has one vote for each of the posts.
