None are so old as those who have outlived enthusiasm. - Henry David Thoreau Getting old is not all its cracked up to be, thats why Im not going to do it ;). Its so much more than an aging process, once we decide at some mental level that we are old we start to withdraw from life itself and lose all of our vitality - no thank you. Im not talking about aging, or being a certain age, its more about if we do, or dont do. When we see the natural beauty all around us and feel some love and caring for our fellow humans we feel a connectedness and an equality with the whole of mankind. Wherever possible I intend to look at life with enthusiasm and gratitude for the miracle of each day lived on this glorious planet. So to all those forever young (and the ones who havent decided either way yet) - have a glorious Monday, and recall one memory from childhood where you felt awe and wonder and take it from there.
