Noones ever surprised me with anything before....ummmm unless you count hits to the back of the head and Cancer... Im always surprised on my Sisters keeper page by the new layers of kindness and generosity strangers (I dont believe anyone is a stranger, were all brothers and sisters in humanity) show to others and myself. But noone has ever surprised me personally with gifts and flowers, and a dinner to share with Gods most compassionate and kind creation.... You know, most ppl wouldnt want to share such a moment, but my blessing was greater because I was sharing that moment with someone I love and adore, respect and revere, and who deserves it 1000 times more than I do...my sister Zeinab Hawshar... And the most magical part? Is that whilst I knew most of the people there...the person who organised it, Nano Abbas Rifaii was someone Ive never met before...a stranger who took the time to organise a beautiful dinner of intimacy for Zeinab and myself, organised a cake and bought us precious gifts... just to kinda say thank you for doing what is our obligation to humankind. To Zeinab Hawshar truly you are more deserving than anyone I know. To Susana Mir wow! What an immaculate cake! What a magnificent gesture of utmost kindness and thats exactly how Id portray me! Peeps thats me carrying the pali flag on the cake (the trashy one with boobs...the other respectable one is Zeinab lol!) Can somebody tag me with the facebook names of the twins who came to dinner last night. In my moment of sadness I saw those amazing flowers aaaand Im crushing on them and the memory of how sweet you ladies you are. And to the ladies who came...you rock! And thanks for letting me whistle without penalty! And to the Hawshar family (mashallah there are so many of you and ill try do the tagging)... I want to make a side note to thank you for welcoming my daughter Zeinab into your home. She only has one half a family, mine, and now shes wriggled her way into yours...thank you..well be applying for that visa to visit our long lost family in Auburn more often lol! And nano...no words do justice to the level of warmth I felt last night...from you and what you created. I love you. Words will never do justice to how grateful I am, not just for what you did for us, but because you brought me to tears with your generosity and your thoughtfulness... I woke up this morning to a history that will not release me, that digs its claws into my present, only to see the pictures of last night and be reminded that through people like you those claws are will tomorrow be less painful... Bless
