Normally, Im not a big fan of The Motley Fool. However, Tim Beyers & Rick Engdahl pretty much get what Ive been saying for years. Google+ isnt just a Facebook clone. Its actually the centerpiece of the Google ecosystem. Everything that is Google via Android, Chrome OS, or the Chrome web browser all feeds into Google+. By using all of these tools together as an ecosystem, Google+ lets you personalize the services so that it works better for users on an individual level. People are amazed at how well I use Google Now. Its because of my Google+ that Ive been working on for 2 years. Its through Google+ that it knows my locations, likes, dislikes, searches, music, & other parts that make up my social graph. It lets me maximize the information I need when I need it. Its not perfect but Apple & Microsoft have nothing to counter the social & knowledge graphs of information on me.
