North Florida Tallahassee Neurology Practice group is recruiting for NP/PA The NP or PA will be responsible for seeing new and returning patients with a variety of neuro logic illness. The practice currently employs two NPs, a PA and three neurologists. This position will give interested candidates an opportunity to interact in a supportive and caring environment. Neurology experience is preferred but not required. They are seeking to replace one of the NP`s in the practice now who has been employed there for many years and is retiring. The NP or PA will take occasional weekend call with a neurologist. This is infrequent as the hospital employs neurohospitalist. There is an additional payment for any hospital call. This practice is very successful due in part to the patient population in this area, expert management, the need in the community and the opportunity to earn income from ancillary services provided by the practice. Neurological services provided include complete neurological evaluation and treatment, Independent Medical Exams (IMEs), EMG/nerve conduction velocity studies, EEG (including 24 hour EEG), therapeutic BOTOX injections, and clinical drug studies.
