North to Alaska! Final Post Stan attended the Comox Valley Memorial Service and announced that he was ending his trip to Alaska at the half-way point. The exhortation that morning was on the theme “Wisdom is better than strength”, from Ecclesiastes 9:16. This Bible talk confirmed the rightness of Stan’s decision. It was wise to terminate travel on roads that were unsafe with shoulders still covered with debris from Spring snowfalls in April. Yet Stan had persevered through with Our Heavenly Father’s help and the prayers of many supporters. To maintain his courage, his own prayers and song in hymns helped him. Stan kept up his courage and determination with the help of a hymn-rack attached to his handlebars to mount hymns from the set of 32 he carried with him. In weather without rain he sang from these while he rode north. Stan hopes that though the ride ended, others will join him in support of the work for the Christadelphian Bible Mission. cbma.net/help/north-to-alaska/
