Northpoint Students kicked off the week with Immersion, which is an Expeditionary Learning activity that introduces the students to the semester expedition subjects. Freshman went to the Heard Museum to explore self-identity through the lens of Navajo art and Indian Boarding Schools and Sophomores went to an old Coyote smuggling site near Lake Pleasant to begin their exploration of Immigration in the United States. The photos below show the powerful and meaningful experiences our students are having as they learn about the complex issues that make up their world.
