Northumberland County Council consults on Community Housing Strategy Northumberland County Council would like your help in developing its Community Housing Strategy, which will bring together in one place the Council’s aspirations and objectives for the provision of housing and housing support for the following groups of people: • Older people (in need of affordable housing and those not) • Vulnerable young people • People leaving residential care (mostly those that the Winterbourne View Hospital inquiry relates to) • Disabled people The strategy will be finalised in November 2014, but the Council needs your assistance for the first draft they will produce in April.
