Not Just Umrindai Tin Patey... Felix is Umrindai JHYANG!! Usually when we use the phrase, umrindai tin patey, it has quiet a negative connotation to it, but what do you call this 10 year old? Felix De St-Hilaire is just 10 years old, but the way he plays guitar and sings, he sounds like an old, old soul. Whats even crazier is the fact that Felix can channel blues greats like Peg Leg Sam B.B. King, Charley Patton, John Lee Hooker and Robert Johnson -- and he does it all by ear. Felix was born premature, in fact he was born when his mother was only 6 months pregnant, because of which he is blind. But blindness does nothing to curb his amazingly crazyyyy talent... His parents bought him a guitar when he was just 6, Felix taught himself how to play the guitar and sing like a pro... Here Felix appears in pyjamas and plays with a guitar across his lap as he sings “Every Day I Have the Blues” by B.B. King. Hope you will enjoy and appreciate his talent as much as we did.
