Not So Distant Future RPG (Harry Potter based) ::Paragraph Sample Audition:: At the Ravenclaw house Lorcan Scamander closed the window and sat down on his bed, intent on finishing the muggle crossword puzzle hed picked up at Kings Cross last year. Hed chipped away at the clues over summer for a lack of anything better to do, but there were still nine words that stubbornly escaped his vocabulary. How was he supposed to know which artist a Belieber supported? What was a Belieber, anyways? Hey, Lor. The Scamander looked up, mildly startled at the interruption but quickly placated when he saw it was Albus. Um, sorry for barging in, but—mind if I sit down? Only if you never call me Lor again, he answered with a straight face. Reminds me too much of my Grandmum. He shuddered, trying to suppress a particularly disturbing memory from his last encounter with the Scamander matriarch over the summer. Lorcan was about to fold up the year-old newspaper in his hands when a sudden thought struck him. Say, Albus... what species dyou reckon a Blue Ivy is? I looked up all the muggle botany books I could find but theres no mention of an ivy in a blue color anywhere. Look, he offered, extending the newspaper to the Potter and tapping at the clue with his wand: #14 - Blue Ivy Carters mother. All I know is that its gotta have a n in there somewhere, because its a part of the word microphone. //Yey I got accepted!!
