Not a jumper in sight tonight, the weather is certainly warming up now. Had a steady flow of patrons enjoying PIF nannys soup, creamy pasta and loads of pies, sausage rolls and beautiful cakes from Caths Cakes St Marys as well as donuts from Southlands Donut King and Bread from Annies Bakery. Saw a few guys we havent seen in awhile and it was great to catch up with them. Our newly housed patron came for a visit and seems to be doing really well. Our resident busker started playing a song he wrote today when one of the young female volunteers from the Vinnies Van came over and asked to borrow his guitar. Well knock me down, another amazing voice that gave me goosebumps. So the rest of the night was spent jamming, Penriths very own XFactor. Thanks to all our volunteers tonight, some have been unwell lately and we are thinking of you all and hope your back on your feet again soon. We put a shout out for a bed the other day for one of our patrons thats been sleeping on a concrete floor and thanks to one of our wonderful supporters we now have one that will be delivered this week. With the days being hotter we need to make sure we have loads of water onsite to keep everyone hydrated. If your looking for something to donate, water would be fantastic. Have a great week xx
