Not a revelation but more a re-RECOGNITION .................. that Im not 25, or 35, or 45, or 55, or even 65 anymore. It was gorgeous this morning as the temps warmed past 50* and I really got into redoing some of my gardens. This entailed digging up wheelbarrows full of old soil and remixing new soil with compost, peat moss, egg shells and fertilizer and trimming dozens of newly dug plants and bulbs and replanting them, some in new pots and some back into the garden. As 11 a.m. approached it was already too hot but I had much to do. By 12:45 it was 84* in the shade and Id been in the sun for almost 5 hours. When the stars began dancing in my peripheral vision I knew Id gone too long. I hustled to get done and went inside to cool down. After a solid nap I was collected and back outside at 4:00. Just gotta remember to pace myself if that glorious ol Sol is shining. ................................ Life Be GOOD !! .............................
