Not all white people are entitled. Not all black people are on welfare. Not all southerners are ignorant, rebel racists. Not all northerners are liberal, Yankee carpetbaggers. Not all cops are bad. Not all black people are in street gangs. Not all successful women are feminists. Not all Italians are in the mob. Not all Irish are drunks. Not all Mexicans are lazy. These stereotypes - among others, when placed as absolutes, are why there are so many problems in our worldviews of each other. Yes, stereotypes exist for a reason, but theyre not always accurate. Theyre caricatures, usually based on a small populace rather than a large one...
