We are going to be wrong in some spots, right in others. The BEST thing you can do for the most accurate forecast (besides waiting until Thursday) is to continue to check for updates! Please read everything below! 1) Highest confidence for the higher snowfall amounts remains east of I-81 in NY State (places like Cooperstown, Onenonta/Delhi). Farther south and west (like toward Hornell) amounts may drop off sharply. 2) Our snowfall forecast is mostly based on a heavier band of snow moving west into our area. The placement of this band is NEVER an exact science and often hard to pinpoint until it can be seen on radar. Our latest forecast is always our best shot at getting this right but amounts are likely to go up and down a bit, based on new information.
