Not for one minute do I think playing professional football makes - TopicsExpress

Not for one minute do I think playing professional football makes someone prone to assault their partners or even potentially volatile. However, I do think that some men who already have those traits may have actually excelled in the NFL because football is sport that requires aggression on the gridiron. But please, its not like NFL players are soldiers in Afghanistan who are staring at death and a desperate fight to survive in the face every day! THAT will change you. But even then most troops dont come back ready to punch their long-suffering spouses. So, while the NFL is in desperate need of a good scrub down, from the corner offices to the locker room, these players are handsomely paid volunteers of this sport and despite the fact that theyve probably been allowed to get away with so much in life, they need to put their big boy pants on when they take their cleats off and learn to be a man on and off the field. Because if two football players hit their wives and attack their children then 10 doctors, 5 plumbers, 3 news anchors and a deacon did also. So, let me introduce you to the federal judge and the stripper turned housewife. Judge Mark Fuller and Anna Benson. Because domestic violence isnt an occupational hazard.. Its about a sick, deeply seeded need for power and control - by any means necessary.
