Not only does Serco look to bring service to life for a better tomorrow for its employees, the Company is dedicated to making a lasting impact for the community. On September 19th, the Lawton, Oklahoma CMS site hosted an Employee Appreciation Day, which saw several community leaders in attendance including Mayor Fred Fitch and Barry Albrecht, the CEO of the Lawton Economic Development Council. The leaders served lunch to the employees, and the local radio station KMGZ 95.3 broadcasted live from the site and interviewed the Site Manager, Francis Moody, who recognized contributions to the Lawton Food Bank. Employees also held a four-day long food drive leading up to the event, which saw the collection of 5,100 pounds of food and $1,000 cash for the Food Bank. This contribution made up for over half of the 9,000 pounds of food that was collected over the past year.
