Not really food related, but I want to get the word out about this film: They did provide some great food for VIP guests - Salmon en Croute, Ceasar & Cobb Salads in martini glasses, prime rib mini sandwiches, mini spanakopita and pear and stilton tartlets, plus free drinks. The bartender told me no when I asked for diet Coke. Kidding of course. We missed the pasta dishes and other items since we got there a little late. Glad to spend some one-on-one quality time tonight with my favorite news reporter and new friend, Jennifer Kraus, after she invited me as her VIP guest to see the screening of the Glen Campbell documentary about his and his familys struggle Alzheimers Disease. Ive been blessed to never have had anyone Ive loved affected by this disease. It is truly heartbreaking and has always been my biggest fear. I cried and I laughed. Glen maintained his sense of humor during the two years it took to film this and also during his final tour (after his diagnosis was announced in 2011). James Keach is the Director (and the MC for this evening). His ex-wife, actress Jane Seymour is one of the Executive Producers and was also there - two rows in front of us and stunningly beautiful in person. Jennifer and I stalked her for a bit This is a MUST SEE for everyone - whether youve been affected or not. I stayed for part of the concert after and really enjoyed the music of the band Delta Rae. Ashley Campbell (his young daughter) brought me to tears with her tribute song to him Daddy dont worry, Ill do the remembering. I left before The Band Perry came on stage. Thank you, Jennifer for the invite! https://youtube/watch?v=LAtgraWN5-I
