Im all for reboots when the technology and effects can more accurately translate the concept to the screen. But this just seems strange. Like what if I were to reboot Shaft with Arnold Schwarzenegger in the title role? Remake Bebes Kids with voice/animation done by Seth Macarlane? Re-imagine Sanford & Sons with James Caan? Sounds ridiculous, right? Just saying... (I didnt really like the original Annie all that much, anyway. This one will probably be better. I just wonder, why the palette-swap?)
