Not sure if you are all aware of this but Fastpost can only be used between major cities eg Auckland=Christchurch.... not Kerikeri=Christchurch! Shame on NZ POST for pi$$ing around with our post, I pay the proper postage then I expect a letter to be delivered within 5 days to Christchurch from here... not 10 days! NZPOST moan that they are loosing money but are being greedy in dealing with the publics mail... how would they like to get letters that are days old or miss a bill payment date!! Grrrrrrr It is the second time in a fortnight NZ Post has been criticised. The Postal Workers Union of Aotearoa last month exposed NZ Post for deliberately holding back standard mail as an incentive for people to pay more for FastPost. A NZ Post spokesman yesterday admitted the company was still bedding in changes implemented last October.
