Not the way we wanted to end our football season....Derrick Ransom went down about midway through the second quarter with a shoulder injury and could not play the rest of the game. He would not leave at half time to go have his shoulder x-rayed, opting to stay and lend support to his team. Very proud of our middle school boys tonight. They fought to the end only to come up a few yards short on the last play of the game. Derrick Ransom did go to the emergency room after the game. Initial x-rays show no break in the collar bone and the spacing in the shoulder joint is o.k. (same thing they told us last year and his collar bone was cracked). We will have to monitor him a few days and see how he feels. Oh yeah...this is his left arm and he is left handed!! Guess who just got through writing the answers to his history homework for him!!!!
