Not to sure where to start! Last Tuesday is was Julians birthday and after a very long day T.B testing and being interrupted for a couple of hours to do a cesarean we came in at and sat down to an amazing three course meal cooked by Vicki Courtier for 7of us. (Frankly enough food for an army). We had smoke mackerel pate, Italian meats, baked Camembert with the most delicious warm red onion marmalade and cheese bread for starter. Main was chicken risotto with a green salad. For pudding we only had the choice of creme brûlée, warm lemon meringue pie and sticky toffee pudding with a hot butterscotch sauce! Yesterday was my birthday. My day started by getting my little Mini a valet (well its birthday as well!) Whilst she was being pampered I was off to be pampered myself. Chris Courtier, Victoria, and George Courtier had arranged for me to have a massage, a manicure and get my nails painted. FAB-U-LOUS, best massage ever. Then off the Exeter College where we met up with Mum and sister Janice Burrough for lunch. Totally recommend eating there, you are a Guinea Pig to the students, 3 course meal for £8:45! (@thirty.four 01392 400334). Sneaked in a cheeky bit of shopping before coming home. In the evening Victoria served another amazing three course meal for 9 of us. On the menu was a choice of fish cakes or tomato risotto balls filled with mozzarella cheese. Steak with ALL the trimmings. Followed by profiteroles and a white chocolate and raspberry roulade. My Grandad Parris always said to me a bad pup makes a good dog?.............thank you Victoria. Xxx P.S Best birthday for years, nearly can say ever xxx
