Note the phrase from heavy rains. that is, we have been using this crap for factory farming for a while, but it needed the perfect storm (as one climatologist called it) of heavy rains, warmer water and the phosphorus from fertilizer to ruin the water with toxic algae bloom. from poster: This is what Lake Erie water looks like right now thanks to factory farms that spray the waste equivalent of a city like AnnArbor UNTREATED on the land around them every year. There are 10 of these farms in southeastern Michigan and several in Ohio that dump this highly toxic slurry into Lake Erie everytime we get heavy rains. Toledo will be without water again soon.
