You are trying to ruin the joy you find in eating one of your favorite candies around Easter every year (like you did when you were a kid and stole the junior mints off a truck and ate them until they made you sick). 2. You want to find yourself making a post on Facebook outside a Loves Country Store outside Tulsa at 5:23 am about eating them causing you to read the calories and ingredients and realize that weird taste in your mouth after sliding several tubes into your pie hole one after another may be the Carnauba wax. 3. You also find out that your beloved candy contains Titanium Dioxide. The food industry adds it to hundreds of products to make overly processed items appear whiter. FOUND IN: Processed salad dressing, coffee creamers, and icing. [And apparently white Sixlets!!!] WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: Titanium is a mined substance thats sometimes contaminated with toxic lead. Plus, most white dressings (like creamy ranch) aren’t great for you anyway. Both your health and your waistline will fare better if you go with an olive oil- or vinegar-based salad topper instead. Oh well, farewell Sixlets - it was nice knowing you!!! It was great while it lasted...
